* It means cast a magic circle- an area you cast spells in. You can search for a circle casting ritual, but there's lots of different ways of doing it. Basically, you walk around in a circle clockwise, and say i invite you water spirit, fire spirit, earth spirit, wind spirit and (your god, goddess, guardian spirit, or if your an athiest, yourself) then go in to this circle and cast your spell. Once you've finished, walk around it again anti-clockwise thanking the spirits and guardian, tell them to go in peace and know they are always welcome. Say the circle is released but not unbroken.
