Good Ol' England. I have ancestors there,.. and Ireland and Scotland too!  Also Poland.
The nice thing about being American is that most of us have roots from somewhere else. Although, I admit that politically we have come across as being bullies some times.
Anyway,.. I know that we are the children of England. (so to speak) The climate where I live is maybe similar. Although when I was in Arizona,...  I doubt if there is anything like a desert there in England.

Does being a Beatles or Sex Pistols fan win me any points? Or is that passe?

I was in the US Navy for a while. Never made it to the Phillipines. But, I met a few dudes who were from there. Very strong, hardworking and decent fellows! Grin Ate a lot of meat, though!

What are some of your native beliefs?

Passed through there once. Reminded me of Tucson Az. Also I have been to Albuquerque. It is a lot like Arizona in most parts. Do you study any of the Native American stuff?

I have never been to Oregon. But, I met people from there. Some told me I should move there. But, I came to Utah instead. It has been rainy here. I imagine that where I am is somewhat like it as far as terrain goes. Except for the beach....

Greece. Now there is a culture with an interesting past! Formed a lot of what we accept as normal  nowadays. Next to the Romans.
I love baklava! I haven't had a real Gyro in years because I  am a strict vegetarian. But, I did try to pick up a table with my teeth once!
I will never do that again... Tongue

No intention of hunting you down! Cheesy
I was just sort of curious as to how far spread we were! I see X-file girl is close to you. Relatively speaking anyway. Where is Basingstoke? Is that  a suburb of a larger city?

{I'm coming to get you... Grin}
