So how do you prove opinions? You really can't. In this way, irrationality being determined by majority is limiting.

Though honestly, I think I lost sight of what my original point was, so ima do was I was going to do in the first place and butt out of this one.

Does thinking you're the only sane person left on the planet make you crazy?

Remember the golden rule of religion: "I am right, you are wrong." Doesn't matter who says it or what they believe. No one can prove anything, anyway.

No, seriously. You have no idea how wrong opinions can be. Well, actually, no, they can't be, let me rephrase. How damaging opinions can be.

Once upon a time the majority were all for or burning people if they were old and good with herbs, or had a black cat.

A spy was tortured.

A deserter was court martialled, which resulted in death by firing squad.

A robber might well have been lynched.

The majority encouraged this, indeed bought these things about. However nowadays, that seems appalling. The majority, unfortunately, is often wrong.

Yes, on a smaller scale, within one country, yes. Good thinking, Silver! I wouldn't have thought of that.  Cheesy Plus karma!

Look deeper. There is no majority when there is no individual. Why do you think we don't or rarely have those things now? An opinion/idea came up and the majority encouraged it. And then, we had revolution. xD Cheesy
